Ventolin, also known as albuterol, is a medication that opens up the medium and large airways in the lungs. It is used to treat asthma including asthma attacks, exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It may also be used to treat high blood potassium levels. Ventolin is usually used with an inhaler or nebulizer but is also available as a pill and intravenous solution. Onset of action of the inhaled version is typically within 15 minutes and lasts for two to six hours.
Common side effects include shakiness, headache, fast heart rate, dizziness, and feeling anxious.[6] Serious side effects may include worsening bronchospasm, irregular heartbeat, and low blood potassium levels. It can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but safety is not entirely clear.[6][9] It is a short-acting β2 adrenergic receptor agonist which works by causing airway smooth muscles to relax.
Medical uses
Ventolin is typically used to treat bronchospasm (due to any cause—allergic asthma or exercise-induced), as well as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is also one of the most common medicines used in rescue inhalers (short-term bronchodilators to alleviate asthma attacks).
As a β2 agonist, salbutamol also has use in obstetrics. Intravenous salbutamol can be used as a tocolytic to relax the uterine smooth muscle to delay premature labor. While preferred over agents such as atosiban and ritodrine, its role has largely been replaced by the calcium channel blocker nifedipine, which is more effective, better tolerated, and administered orally.
Ventolin has been used to treat acute hyperkalemia, as it stimulates potassium flow into cells, thus lowering the potassium in the blood.
Adverse effects
The most common side effects are fine tremor, anxiety, headache, muscle cramps, dry mouth, and palpitation. Other symptoms may include tachycardia, arrhythmia, flushing of the skin, myocardial ischemia (rare), and disturbances of sleep and behaviour. Rarely occurring, but of importance, are allergic reactions of paradoxical bronchospasms, urticaria (hives), angioedema, hypotension, and collapse. High doses or prolonged use may cause hypokalemia, which is of concern especially in patients with renal failure and those on certain diuretics and xanthine derivatives.

Great customer service; replaced the Ventolin with Clenbuterol. No issues with Tretinoin "purging"
It would only let me select Ventolin, as that is what I had originally ordered, but it was out of stock and customer service reached out to me and offerred to replace it with an equivalent cost amount of Clenbuterol. Great job on the customer service front, and I'm glad I went with Clenbuterol over Ventolin. It does make me a little shaky and is stimulating, but I'd recommend it. Came very quickly after I contacted customer service. The Tretinoin also came very quickly, and the tubes were intact. I've had no issues with my skin "purging" and use the "sandwich" layer method (moisturizer first, then Tretinoin cream once it's dried, then moisturizer on top). It does make the creases of my nose a little sensitive, but not overly so. I make sure to use sunscreen as well. I would recommend both products and will order again!Submit a Photo

J*** F*** Stimulating, a little shaky at first, but I did lose weight
It's definitely stimulating, so as they usually recommend, don't take it after 3:30 PM. I started at 20mg, and after a few days went up to 20 x 2(total of 40mg spaced out), and got up to 80 per day. Again, it's pretty stimulating, so it's also helpful as an appetite suppressant. How much of any weight loss comes from actually raising your basal metabolic rate versus suppressing appetite? Hard to say, but I suppose in this case it's a "positive" confounder. The very first morning I definitely felt a little shaky, as can also happen when increasing the dosage. It also makes my mouth dry; the first day I was having trouble even getting words out, I felt so wired. So go slow. I didn't as is recommended, keep a track of my temperature throughout the day, so you should also purchase a thermometer so that you're not getting hyperthermic. Stay well hydrated, and avoid other anticholinergics. I did feel a little stronger in the gym, so I do believe it does have some performance aids. But don't take it before cardio, I definitely felt like I was getting a little overexerted. Overall, I would use it again, but make sure that you do so in the lowest dose possible, and the shortest time possible.
